If you like kites then your destination is Valencia. The capital of Turia is the venue, from 13th to 15th April, for its City of Valencia International Kite Festival. Come and fly your Milotxa, Easter is here!
Between 13th and 15th April the Paseo Maritimo (Promenade) will be the venue for the tenth City of Valencia International Kite Festival. The kites will brighten up the blackness of the Valencian night with their multi-coloured and fluorescent lights and in the daytime, with the sea as a backdrop, more than four thousand will be dancing at the same time in a colourful three-ring circus. For three days flat-framed light kites, born of the passion of creators such as the New Zealander Peter Lynn, who has constructed the largest ones in the world, will crown the pure and privileged Valencian firmament both by day and by night.
