Baroque vanguard is the title of a new exhibit on the obscure expressionism of Valencian artist Juan de Ribera Berenguer. His works, going back to the 1950s, are now on display at the Centro del Carmen. Do not miss this impressive exhibit!
Valencian artist Juan de Ribera Berenguer, founding member of art groups such as Parpallo, Arte Actual or the MAM / Movimiento Artistico del Mediterraneo (MAM, Mediterranean Art Movement), shows more tan 120 pieces of his work in an exhibit that takes visitors through the artist's trajectory and baroque figurative creations. The exhibit, Ribera de Berenguer Baroque Vanguard / La Vanguardia Barroca de Ribera de Berenguer is open at the Centro del Carmen (home to the Valencia Museum of Fine Arts and located at the old convent of El Carmen) opens until February 3rd. Works are organized chronologically, from 1953 until the present.
