The building of Museo Casa de las Rocas dates from XV century and it was here that the carriages and other items used in the "Corpus" procession were kept like giants and the "Las Rocas".
This building dates from XV century and it was here that the carriages and other items used in the Hábeas procession were kept. A 25-minute long video is shown here these days which covers the "Corpus" festivity in Valencia, with carriage-floats of the Ark of the Covenant, giants and giant puppets and the "Las Rocas", all of which take part in the procession.
Processional carts have been made for hundreds of years and this tiny, free museum, housed in an historic building, has examples of recent carts and figurines from them alongside older illustrations and photographs of processions over the years.
