The Agora in the City of Arts and Sciences is a versatile space for the holding of events: congresses, conventions, concerts, exhibitions and performances.

The Agora in the City of Arts and Sciences is a versatile space that will allow the holding of varied events. A multi-functional setting has been planned for the staging of congresses, conventions, concerts, and performances; it can also be converted into an exhibition area. This building hosted successfully the Valencia Open 500 Tennis Tournament, one of the most important international sports meetings. Today the Agora hosts the Caixa Forum Valencia.

The Agora is a metallic structure with a ground plan resembling a pointed ellipsis some 88 metres long and 66 metres wide, and a covered area of some 4,811 square metres. This large interior space has been conceived as a covered public square with an open ground plan on a level with the adjacent lakes and parades. The fixed roof, which when closed has a maximum height of some 70 metres above ground level, will be covered with glass panels, and the lower section with opaque panels lined with trencadis.

• Closed on December 25 and January 1 and 6.
• December 24 and 31 and January 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
