The new edition of the region of Valencia's Gran Prix, the final race counting towards the World Motorcycle Championships, will be held on the 27th, 28th and 29th of October at the racing circuit Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo.
The Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana, which bears the name of the Valencian World Motorcycle Champion Ricardo Tormo, is situated in Cheste just outside the city of Valencia. The Valencian circuit covers a total land surface area of a million and a half kilometers square, only 20 km from Valencia and 15 from the airport in Manises. Its privileged location allows it to benefit from a wide range of communications.
The Circuit is equipped with the most recent technological advances, and the installations have been conceived under the prism of functionality and modernism. The Circuit was designed along the lines of the American circuits, allowing the spectators complete visibility of the course layout and of what is happening on the racecourse at all times.
With the objective of facilitating access to the Circuit, Renfe Cercanias (the local rail service) foresees providing additional service that will allow access to more than 10,000 spectators in scarcely 25 minutes.
