The Benicarlo Palace was built as the residence of the Borja family on top of a building that housed the Art and Grammar School. Since then, it has undergone several restructurings, although a half-pointed, arched doorway and a logia (gallery) of windows on the top floor still remain in the Gothic style. Today it is the seat of the Valencia Regional Parliament.
