On Sunday mornings, we advise you to visit the Plaza Redonda, whose popular atmosphere will transport you to 19th century Valencia, with its market of paintings, books, plants, animals, leather goods and music. Also on Sundays, lovers of philately and numismatics gather instead at the Lonja de la Seda (Silk Lodge) for their usual exchanges and barters.
Strolling through the municipal food markets and especially the Mercado Central (Central Market), is a wonderful experience for the senses, thanks to the mixtures of aromas and colors offered by the products on display and its exceptional modernist architecture. Along the streets adjacent to these markets you will find traditional shops and a large commercial activity.
